  • 1. What is WhatsApp chat-ordering?

    WhatsApp chat-ordering is an easy way for you to order your KFC faves through WhatsApp. WhatsApp chat-ordering is a form of chat-commerce, which allows you to use your favourite chat app on your mobile phone to make a purchase. With its end-to-end encryption and our merchant-approved in-app payment solution, we ensure that your information is safely processed for effortless ordering.
    Simply:

    1. 1) Add KFC chat-order as a WhatsApp contact through adding KFC Chat-Order 087 153 1074 to your phone contacts.
    2. 2) Just say “hi.”
    3. 3) Follow the prompts to choose your KFC meal.
    4. 4) Share your location pin or suburb to choose the KFC restaurant you want to collect from.
    5. 5) Select your payment option. At this point you are able to pay in your chosen KFC restaurant. From 17 July you will also have the option to input your card details and pay via WhatsApp.
    6. 6) Collect your order from your chosen KFC restaurant. We will have delivery options in the near future, but for now, we look forward to serving up finger-lickin’ goodness for you to collect at a KFC restaurant near you.
  • 2. How does WhatsApp Chat-Ordering work?

    WhatsApp chat-ordering uses guided prompts, EMOJI-embedded facilitation, and natural language processing to guide you through the ordering process. All you have to do is answer the questions posed by our friendly KFC chat-bot by replying with a number, a word or an EMOJI.
    Simply:

    1. 1) Add KFC chat-order as a WhatsApp contact through adding KFC Chat-Order 087 153 1074 to your phone contacts.
    2. 2) Just say “hi.”
    3. 3) Follow the prompts to choose your KFC meal.
    4. 4) Share your location pin or suburb to choose the KFC restaurant you want to collect from.

  • 3. How do I pay?
    After you have selected your order from our full menu and selected the KFC restaurant you wish to collect from, you will be given an option to either pay via WhatsApp (from 17 July onwards), or to pay at the KFC restaurant. Should you choose to pay via WhatsApp, you will be served a verified link where you will be able to input your card details and make a payment through our merchant-approved in-app payment solution. Your payment will be processed immediately. Should you choose to pay at the KFC restaurant, you will be sent your order number and upon arriving at the restaurant, you will be able to pay via the front counter and collect your meal.
  • 4. Can my food be delivered?
    Delivery is not yet available via the WhatsApp chat-ordering channel, however, be sure to watch-this-space for delivery in the future. You can use the KFC WhatsApp chat-ordering channel for easy ordering and then collect your KFC faves at your chosen KFC restaurant.
  • 5. How do I get my food?
    After you have decided on your order, selected a KFC restaurant near you and chosen to either pay via WhatsApp, or at the restaurant, you will be able to collect your KFC meal from your chosen restaurant. Once arriving at the restaurant, be sure to show a KFC team member your order number and collect your fresh KFC meal.
